Zupee appoints Akanksha Dhamija as chief operating officer

Online skill-based gaming platform Zupee has appointed Akanksha Dhamija as its chief operating officer (COO). She has been elevated from her previous position of senior vice president of Growth and Strategy. Dhamija will still handle the overall business growth and strategy.
According to the official release, Dhamija has over 13 years of experience in the industry including stints at OLX and McKinsey & Company. She has worked in various leadership roles.

I look forward to working closely with the extremely talented team to fuel Zupee’s overall growth trajectory and make Zupee a formidable force in the gaming ecosystem,” said Dhamija as quoted by The Financial Express.

Zupee offers various online real money games on its platform like Ludo, Snakes & Ladders, and Carrom. Ludo, in particular, includes several variations to keep players engaged. The company has also recently announced comedian Kapil Sharma as its new brand ambassador.
Apart from their platform, the company also provides its games on Jio phones after it entered into a partnership with Jio Platforms Ltd in January, 2022. Since the company provides casual games, they are relatively lightweight and easy to play.
