Multi-titled esports event ‘College Rivals’ reaches its Pune leg

In continuation to its pan-India tour, Ampverse DMI, an esports firm, is gearing up to bring its ‘College Rivals’ tournament to the city of Pune. The event is now set to enthral the Pune audience with its gaming truck. The overwhelming enthusiasm from students and educational institutions in Delhi, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, coupled with the tournament’s presence on social media, remarks the growing popularity of esports in the country.
College Rivals aims at nurturing talent by connecting budding aspirants with the thriving gaming community within India’s educational institutions. As the event is on the horizon for the city, the participants will look to unlock the potent of their gaming abilities. Students from all corners of the city are free to join the event.

Previously, the event has been hosted in cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. And now, the mobile gaming truck has arrived in Pune. Here, it will oversee players and provide gaming experience to esports enthusiasts. Casual esports, tournaments, interactions with influencers and live performances will be a forming part of the event in Pune.
Gamers can register for games across categories of games. These titles include Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Counter-Strike, FIFA 2023, Road to Valor: Empires, Valorant and Tekken7. A total of 63,000 registrations have been made thus far through online and offline channels. College Rivals has been able to draw its attention towards the youth through its offerings.
College Rivals will mark an aim to elevate the competitive gaming and unity for Ampverse DMI. The event will be held at different institutions such as College of Engineering Pune (COEP), Sinhgad Institute, Ajeenkya DY Patil University, MIT ADT University, AISSMS College of Engineering. Alongside the gaming experience, the event will also feature some musical performances to light up the show.
