India’s esports scene receives a boost as Skyesports, launches the Pokémon UNITE World Championship 2024 India Qualifier. With a prize pool of $37,500, this event promises a journey for gamers across the nation.

Scheduled to start on May 11 and 12, 2024, the India Qualifier marks an opportunity for local talent to participate on the global stage. Players have until May 9, 2024, to assemble their teams and register via the Skyesports website.

Shiva Nandy, the Founder and CEO of Skyesports, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to encourage esports growth in India. In 2022 and 2023, Revenant Esports and S8UL Esports, respectively, represented India on the international stage.
