IGDC expands developer day across seven Indian cities, introduces new initiatives

The India Game Developer Conference (IGDC), renowned as the premier game industry event in South Asia, has revealed its plans to expand the Developer Day program to seven key Indian cities. This move highlights  IGDC’s dedication to encourage a vibrant and inclusive game development ecosystem across the nation.

Following the success of Developer Day in Kochi, Chennai, and Guwahati last year, IGDC’s Developer Day is set to take place in Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Cochin, Chennai, Guwahati, and Kolkata. This expansion provides game developers and industry leaders with unprecedented access to networking, upskilling opportunities, and a platform to showcase their talents. Additionally, an exclusive Xsolla Forward Night in Bangalore promises to further enrich the experience for attendees.

IGDC is proud to announce the establishment of the Game Developers Association of India (GDAI). This group will support game developers by speaking up for them on laws, rules, and in the gaming world. GDAI aims to empower its members through educational resources, professional development opportunities, and the promotion of ethical game development practices.
