Amidst allegations of Shaheen Afridi misbehaving with Pakistan’s coaching staff and teammates, an old video has emerged on social media, adding fuel to the fire.
In the video, during a team celebration after Shaheen took a wicket, captain Babar Azam approached to congratulate him, but Shaheen Afridi pushed him aside and walked away.

A report from Geo News claims that Shaheen Afridi showed misconduct towards Pakistan’s coaching staff and team management, and violated the team’s protocols on recent tours.
The incidents allegedly took place during Pakistan’s tours of Ireland and England, and later in the USA, where the T20 World Cup 2024 took place.
The report was submitted to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) by Pakistan white-ball coach Gary Kirsten and Azhar Mahmood, where they have also accused the tall pacer of lobbying as well apart from misbehaviour.
Meanwhile, the PCB is looking into the reasons why Shaheen Afridi was not held accountable for his misconduct.
