After his father, now it is time for the son to take world cricket by storm. Yes, we are talking about Rahul Dravid’s son, Samit Dravid, who was recently roped in by the Mysuru Warriors during the player auction ahead of the upcoming season of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20.

The Mysuru Warriors acquired the services of Samit, a middle-order batter and seamer, for Rs 50,000. 

“It’s good to have him on our side as he has shown a lot of promise in various age-group tournaments for KSCA,” a Warriors team official told PTI.

Samit will be playing under the leadership of Karun Nair, who has been retained by the Warriors. Prasidh Krishna and Krishnappa Gowtham are some other known names in the Warriors squad.

The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2024 will feature six teams representing different zones in Karnataka. This year’s tournament is scheduled from September 15 to October 1 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
