MI Cape Town has revealed their retained players from South Africa ahead of the SA20 2025 option. The third season of SA20 is scheduled for January next year. 

Among the retained players for MI Cape Town are big names like Dewald Brevis, Kagiso Rabada, Ryan Rickelton, and Rassie van der Dussen. The team has also kept promising South African prospects like Thomas Kaber, George Linde, and Delano Potgieter. 

It is worth noting that they have not traded or signed any players before the auction. Although there have been reports that they are in the talks with the England Test captain Ben Stokes, nothing has been finalised yet. It will be interesting to see which big names they choose to pick up in the auction.
