Priyansh Arya, the promising batter from Delhi, has been making headlines in the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2024 with his fearless approach at the crease. His latest feat includes a massive 286-run partnership with Ayush Badoni for South Delhi Superstarz.

The duo tore apart the North Delhi bowlers, hitting a combined 29 sixes during their partnership. Priyansh smashed 120 off 50 balls, while Ayush Badoni powered his way to 165 runs from just 55 deliveries.

With his intentful batting style, it’s no surprise that he has caught the eye of several IPL franchises. As the IPL 2025 mega auction approaches, he recently revealed which franchise he’d prefer to represent if given the opportunity.

In a chat with SportsYari, Priyansh Arya expressed his desire to play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, citing Virat Kohli as his favourite cricketer. He also mentioned that since RCB hasn’t won the IPL trophy yet, he wants to contribute to helping them achieve that goal.

“I want to play with RCB because Virat Kohli is my favourite batsman and RCB has never won the IPL title till date – I want to help in that.”

In the same match, Priyansh Arya smashed six sixes in a single over, becoming the first batsman in domestic T20 cricket to achieve this feat. It’s clear that if he enters the IPL auction, many teams, especially Delhi Capitals, will be eager to get him on board.
