The third season of the SA20 tournament will begin on January 9, with the defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape going up against MI Cape Town at St George’s Park. 

The grand final is slated for February 8 at the renowned Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Additionally, SA20 league commissioner Graeme Smith has announced that the playoffs will be held at three different venues this year, with matches set for Gqeberha and Centurion. 

The playoff structure will follow the same format as in the second season: four teams advance to the playoffs, with the top two teams facing off in Qualifier 1, while the third and fourth-placed teams compete in the Eliminator. The winner of the Eliminator will then take on the loser of Qualifier 1 for a spot in the final.

In addition, the auction for SA20 2025 is scheduled for October 1. Meanwhile, the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg has been chosen to host the final of the third edition of SA20.
