Pakistan and Zimbabwe are facing off in the third and final ODI of the series. With both teams winning one game each, this match will decide the series winner. Zimbabwe clinched the opening game, but Pakistan bounced back to level the series in the second match.
Pakistan opted to bat first after winning the toss. Openers Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique gave the team a strong start with a 58-run partnership. Ayub looked promising but fell after scoring 31 runs off 37 balls.
Shafique, however, continued to anchor the innings. He played a steady knock, scoring 50 runs off 68 balls. This was Shafique’s sixth ODI half-century, showcasing his consistency. His innings came to an end when Sikandar Raza trapped him LBW while attempting a sweep shot.
