The opening match of the Big Bash League (BBL) 2024-25 season saw an exciting moment when New Zealand fast bowler Adam Milne gave his fellow Kiwi Finn Allen an aggressive sendoff. It all happened during the Perth Scorchers’ chase of 147 runs at Perth Stadium.
Finn Allen’s Explosive Start and Milne’s Quick Revenge
Allen, making his BBL debut for the Scorchers, hit the first ball of his innings for a huge six. It was a great start for the young opener as he tried to set the tone for his team. But just when he looked ready to make an impact, Milne responded with a brilliant delivery.
On the very next ball, Milne clean bowled Allen, knocking over his middle stump. The bowler celebrated his victory by jumping high in the air, clearly enjoying the moment. His Melbourne Stars teammates joined him in the celebration.
