Punjab’s Anmolpreet Singh created history in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. He smashed the fastest List-A century by an Indian, breaking Yusuf Pathan’s 40-ball record. Anmolpreet achieved this milestone in just 35 balls during Punjab’s match against Arunachal Pradesh in Ahmedabad.

Chasing a small target of 165 runs, Anmolpreet displayed an extraordinary batting performance. He hit 12 fours and nine sixes, scoring 115 runs off 45 balls. Punjab completed the chase in just 12.5 overs, securing a nine-wicket victory in their opening game.

Third-Fastest List-A Century Ever

Anmolpreet’s blistering knock is now the third-fastest hundred in List-A cricket worldwide. The only players ahead of him are Jake Fraser-McGurk of Australia (29 balls) and AB de Villiers of South Africa (31 balls).
