In Match 18 of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024-25, Dhaka Capitals produced a performance to remember against Durbar Rajshahi. After winning the toss, Durbar chose to bowl first—a decision they would regret. Dhaka Capitals set a record-breaking total of 254/1, the highest-ever score in BPL history.
The innings was powered by an incredible opening partnership between Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das. The duo scored 241 runs together, the highest-ever partnership in BPL history.
Both batters achieved centuries, becoming the first opening pair in the league to do so in the same match. Tanzid Hasan smashed 108 runs off 64 balls before falling in the final over, while Litton Das remained unbeaten on a spectacular 125 runs off just 55 balls.
