Pretoria Capitals beat Sunrisers Eastern Cape by 6 wickets in the 7th match of SA20 2025. The batting collapse of Orange Army handed the Capitals an easy target, which they chased down comfortably in just 16 overs at SuperSport Park, Centurion.
Sunrisers Eastern Cape were put in to bat first after losing the toss. Their batting performance was disappointing, with only Marco Jansen managing to put up a fight. Jansen scored a brilliant 51 runs off 35 balls, which included 4 fours and 3 sixes. He was the only batter to get into double figures.
The rest of the Sunrisers Eastern Cape lineup crumbled under pressure. Ben Bedingham, Zak Crawley, Aiden Markram, and others failed to score big. The top order was dismissed cheaply, and the middle order couldn’t build any partnerships. In the end, SEC were bowled out for just 113 runs in 19.4 overs.
