Romario Shepherd gave the finishing touch with a quickfire 38 runs off just 13 balls, smashing four boundaries and three sixes.

Among the bowlers, Jason Holder picked up two wickets, but he was expensive, conceding 38 runs in his four overs. Ali Khan also claimed two wickets, giving away 58 runs.

Abu Dhabi’s Chase Falls Short

Chasing 187, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders struggled and could only manage 158 for nine in their 20 overs. Andries Gous top-scored with 34 runs off 34 balls, while Andre Russell made an unbeaten 37 off 23 balls, hitting three sixes and three fours.
