Rahul Dravid – 2004

Rahul Dravid, former India captain and head coach, was the first Indian to win the ICC Cricketer of the Year award in 2004. During the 2003-04 season, Dravid scored 1241 runs in nine Tests and 752 runs in 22 ODIs. His brilliant form in Test cricket also earned him the ICC Test Cricketer of the Year award the same year.

Sachin Tendulkar – 2010

Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar won the ICC Cricketer of the Year award in 2010. At 37, he became the oldest cricketer to win the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy. Tendulkar scored 674 runs in seven Tests and 703 runs in 14 ODIs during the 2009-10 season.

Ravichandran Ashwin – 2016

R Ashwin claimed the ICC Cricketer of the Year and ICC Test Cricketer of the Year awards in 2016. The all-rounder picked up 72 wickets in 12 Tests while scoring 612 runs. In addition, he took 23 wickets in T20Is, making him the first Indian bowler and only spinner to win the top honor.

Virat Kohli – 2017 and 2018

Virat Kohli made history by winning back-to-back ICC Cricketer of the Year awards in 2017 and 2018. He is among three players to win the award twice and the second to do so consecutively after Ricky Ponting. In 2017, Kohli scored 1059 runs in Tests, 1460 runs in ODIs, and 299 runs in T20Is.
