Shivam Dube has made history by becoming the first player to win 30 consecutive T20I matches for India.

Whenever Dube plays, India wins! His winning streak started in 2019, and since then, he has been part of India’s playing XI in 30 T20I victories without facing a defeat.

Shivam Dube’s Unbeaten Streak

Dube’s T20I journey had a shaky start. He made his debut against Bangladesh in November 2019, but India lost that match. In his first five games, he saw two defeats. However, after that, he never lost a match whenever he was in the playing XI.

His unbeaten run began in January 2020 when India defeated New Zealand 5-0 in a T20I series. Fast forward to 2024, Dube played a major role in India’s T20 World Cup-winning campaign, featuring in all eight matches and winning them all.

Recently, he was called up as a replacement for Nitish Kumar Reddy in the T20I series against England. He played the last two games, scoring a fifty in the fourth match and taking two wickets in the final game, helping India end the series on a high.

CSK Celebrates Their Star

Chennai Super Kings, his IPL team, celebrated Dube’s achievement. Their official X handle posted:

“If Dube plays, India wins. 30-0 and still going strong!”

The post also had a graphic that read:

“Longest streak without defeat in men’s T20Is! 30-0. Since 11/12/2019.”

So far, Dube has played 35 T20Is for India. He has scored 531 runs in 26 innings, including four fifties. His highest score of 63 off 32 balls came against Afghanistan in January 2024.

With the ball, he has taken 13 wickets in 24 innings. His best bowling figures of 3/30 came against Bangladesh in 2019.
