PokerBaazi, one of India’s leading poker platforms, recently participated in ICE Barcelona 2025, a global gaming expo held from January 20 to 22 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. The event, which attracts over 80,000 industry professionals worldwide, serves as a platform for gaming companies to showcase their technological advancements and engage with international stakeholders.

As one of the first Indian gaming companies to take part in the event, PokerBaazi highlighted India’s footprint in the gaming industry. The company presented its technology infrastructure, including its backend systems and mobile and desktop applications, aiming to demonstrate India’s potential in the global gaming market. The participation also aligned with the Indian government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, which promotes domestic innovation and entrepreneurship.

India’s gaming sector has seen significant growth, with an estimated 591 million active gamers and 23 million new users added in FY24. Projections suggest that the industry could reach $9.2 billion by 2029, with an annual growth rate of 23%. Against this backdrop, PokerBaazi’s participation at ICE Barcelona 2025 reflects the increasing global presence of Indian gaming companies and their efforts to engage with the international gaming community.
