MI Cape Town emerged as the champions of SA20 2025, defeating Sunrisers Eastern Cape by 76 runs in the final at The Wanderers, Johannesburg, on February 8.

The winners received ₹20 crore, while the runner-up, Sunrisers Hyderabad, took home ₹13 crore. The team finishing in third place earned ₹7 crore, and the fourth-placed team received ₹6.5 crore.
Difference in Prize Money Between SA20 & IPL
The prize money gap between SA20 and IPL is quite large. While the SA20 winners earned ₹16.2 crore, IPL 2025 champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, received ₹20 crore, which is nearly ₹4 crore more. Additionally, the IPL 2025 runner-up, Sunrisers Hyderabad, got ₹13 crore, almost ₹5 crore more than SA20’s runner-up.
