Mitchell Starc Pulls Out of ICC Champions Trophy, Steve Smith to Lead Australia

Australia’s fast bowler Mitchell Starc has decided not to play in the ICC Champions Trophy. He withdrew due to personal reasons. This is a big loss for the team, as two other top fast bowlers, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood, are also missing the tournament due to injuries.

Australia’s Bowling Options

Steve Smith as Captain

With regular captain Pat Cummins injured, Steve Smith will lead the team. He recently captained Australia in a Test series against Sri Lanka, where they won 2-0. Now, he will have the responsibility of guiding the team in the Champions Trophy.
