Pakistan cricketers Shaheen Afridi, Saud Shakeel, and Kamran Ghulam have been fined by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for breaking the Code of Conduct during the third match of the ODI tri-series against South Africa in Karachi.
The punishments came just hours after Pakistan chased down a massive 353-run target in 49 overs, achieving their highest-ever successful run chase in ODIs.
Shaheen Afridi’s Physical Confrontation
Shaheen Afridi was fined 25 percent of his match fee for a physical altercation with South Africa batter MShakeel atthew Breetzke. The incident took place in the 28th over of South Africa’s innings when Shaheen blocked Breetzke’s path as he was running for a single. The Proteas batter almost tripped, leading to a heated argument.
The ICC found Shaheen guilty of breaking Article 2.12 of the ICC Code of Conduct, which prohibits inappropriate physical contact with players, officials, or others during a match.
Shakeel and Ghulam’s Aggressive Celebration
In the very next over, Saud Shakeel and Kamran Ghulam celebrated aggressively after dismissing South Africa captain Temba Bavuma. Bavuma was run out and had barely started walking back when Shakeel and Ghulam ran up to him and celebrated in his face. Their actions were seen as provocative.
Please bully Bobsy only he can tolerate such shit with his coward personality.

Both players were fined 10 percent of their match fees for violating Article 2.5 of the ICC Code, which bans actions or gestures that could provoke an aggressive reaction from a dismissed batter.
Additional Punishments
Along with the fines, all three players received one demerit point on their disciplinary record. However, Shaheen, Shakeel, and Ghulam accepted the ICC’s decision without challenging the penalties.
The ICC’s strict action serves as a reminder for players to maintain discipline and show sportsmanship on the field.
