A Historic Moment for Pakistan

Pakistan is hosting an ICC event after a long gap, making this a proud moment for the country. The PAF’s Sherdil Aerobatics Team will perform stunning stunts using JF-17 Thunder and F-16 fighter jets. These high-speed jets will showcase Pakistan’s air strength in an unforgettable display.

This is the first major cricket tournament in Pakistan since the 1996 Cricket World Cup. The country has previously hosted the Hockey World Cup in 1990, the Hockey Champions Trophy in 1994, and the World Amateur Snooker Championship in 1993.

Grand Opening in Karachi

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the opening ceremony will take place on February 19 in Karachi. Organizers are planning a big surprise for the fans, making it a night to remember.

Champions Trophy 2025 – Tournament Details

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will feature 15 matches, with the tournament opener between Pakistan and New Zealand at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. The final will take place on March 9.

The top eight cricket teams in the world will compete in this event: Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and South Africa.

India to Play in Dubai

Due to political reasons, India refused to play in Pakistan. As a result, the ICC decided on a hybrid model, with all India’s matches being played in Dubai instead of Pakistan.
