The Champions Trophy 2025 final will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. India and New Zealand will face off in this exciting match. India have been in great form, but New Zealand will not be an easy opponent.
Indian spinner Varun Chakravarthy was the star when these two teams last met. He took five wickets and destroyed the New Zealand batting lineup.
However, the Kiwis will be prepared this time. They have already played in Dubai and know the conditions well. Mitchell Santner will be an important bowler for New Zealand in the final. Meanwhile, fast bowler Matt Henry is doubtful for the match.
Pitch Conditions
The Dubai pitch has been slow throughout the tournament. The final will be played on the same surface that hosted India vs Pakistan in the group stage. The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) has given a two-week rest to all wickets, but the pitch is still expected to be slow.
Spinners will get a lot of help from the surface. India’s spin bowlers could have an advantage, but New Zealand also have strong spinners. The match is expected to be low or mid-scoring, and a total of 270-280 runs will be considered a good score.
