The 35th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will witness the clash of Delhi Capitals who will host Sunrisers Hyderabad at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on April,20 Saturday.

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma will again look to capitalise on the fielding restrictions in the first 6 overs, Head will try to take on the fast bowlers while Sharma will take on the spinners.

Aiden Markram to Anchor at Number Three

Aiden Markram is a perfect number three because he shields the openers and the lower middle order from raw pace with his backfoot range and he is perfectly capable of restructuring the innings in case of a collapse.

Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Reddy will take the onus of smashing spinners in the middle overs of the innings. Reddy after his heroics in the Ranji Trophy, has now found his way in the IPL and his seam bowling is going to improve with time which suggests the sky’s the limit for him.

Abdul Samad is probably the best lower-order domestic batter in the circuit courtesy of his backfoot game and his Power which has made it difficult for Bowlers to bowl at him.

Shahbaz & Mayank: Spinning It in the Middle Phase

Shahbaz Ahmed and Mayank Markande will take up the spin bowling duties in the middle phase of the innings, while Ahmed provides them a left-handed option too.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar will take up the new ball with Jaydev Unadkat where they will try to be aggressive upfront with their lines and lengths in search of new ball wickets.

Pat Cummins will again look to contain the batters with his cutters, bouncers and Hard Lengths while also being an able pace hitter in himself and his captaincy has been spot on.

T Natarajan is expected to bowl in the death overs of the innings, combined with his left arm and his accuracy it becomes very difficult to hit him.
