Mumbai Indians have brought in 23-year-old Haryana pacer Anshul Kamboj to replace Gerald Coetzee in the playing XI against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday, May 6.

Anshul Kamboj is making his debut in the Indian Premier League. Anshul, a relatively unknown cricketer, bowls right-arm fast and is also proficient with the bat.

In 9 T20 appearances, he has bagged 11 wickets while maintaining an impressive economy rate of 6.91, showing his tight control overruns. In List A, he picked up 23 wickets in 15 games.

When it comes to red-ball cricket, Anshul has picked up 24 wickets in 13 matches. It will be interesting to see how he will soak up the pressure while bowling against the number 1 fast bowler of this era, Jasprit Bumrah.

As for the toss, Mumbai Indians have won it and opted to bowl first. They are already out of the playoffs race but are still in contention to spoil the party of the other teams.
