IPL 2024: Tilak Varma Dedicates His Half-Century Celebration To Injured Surykaumar Yadav

Mumbai India’s (MI) batting sensation, Tilak Varma, has revealed that the celebration he did after completing his half-century against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Wednesday, March 27, at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, is dedicated to Suryakumar Yadav.

During a 278-run chase, Tilak Varma hammered 64 runs from 34 balls with the help of two boundaries and a total of six sixes. After completing his half-century, he performed a celebration “Main Hoon Na,” which Suryakumar Yadav had done once against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Now, the Mumbai Indians’ social media handle has uploaded a video in which Tilak Varma can be seen talking about the celebration and revealing that he dedicated it to Suryakumar Yadav, who has been on the sidelines due to injury. He also stated that the team is missing him a lot.

Notably, Suryakumar Yadav has failed to clear the medical test twice by the NCA, and hence he is not allowed to join the Mumbai Indians squad for IPL 2024. He is said to undergo another test in the coming days, and if he is given a green signal, then he can join the Mumbai Indians squad.
