The 40th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will observe the clash of Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans who lock horns at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on April 24, Wednesday.

Shubman Gill has been Gujarat Titans‘ best batter this season; he has accumulated runs at a better strike rate than his peers, but his real task will be to work with a one-dimensional bowling attack.

Wriddhiman Saha will be very important in this lineup because of the value he brings in the power play, and to keeping against the trio of Noor Ahmed, Rashid Khan, and Sai Kishore, which is not a simple task by any means.

Sai Sudharsan and Azmatullah Omarzai: Countering the Spin Threat

Sai Sudharsan and Azmatullah Omarzai will take the onus of the middle overs where their job will be to counter the spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel.

Either Abhinav Manohar or Shahrukh Khan will have to make room for the other one. Manohar in the matches he has played has failed to post any substantial score so far, while Khan provides them with hitting against pace bowling which will provide their batting another dimension.

The Duo of Sandeep Warrier and Mohit Sharma will be their fast bowlers. Warrier will start with the new ball while Sharma will be their middle-overs enforcer and the death specialist.

The troika of R Sai Kishore, Rashid Khan, and Noor Ahmed will pose real challenges for the Delhi Capitals batters.

Khan and Ahmed are quick through the air which gives the batters minimal time to make changes to their shot, whereas Kishore with his old-school bowling will try to beat the batter with his flight, dip, and subtle variations of speed.
