Deepak Chahar pulled his hamstring while bowling his first over against Punjab Kings on Wednesday at Chepauk and was forced to leave the field after just two deliveries.

This latest injury comes as a cruel blow to both Chahar and CSK. Chahar has a history of injuries, having missed the entire IPL 2022 season due to a similar issue.

Bowling Shortage in CSK Camp

The injury woes extend beyond Deepak Chahar. Mustafizur Rahman’s stint with CSK has concluded as he returns to Bangladesh for national duty.
