On 2nd May, Thursday, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, Match 50 of IPL 2024 will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Sunrisers Hyderabad have 4 wins from 9 matches this season; they lost their last match to CSK by 78 runs.

Rajasthan Royals have 8 wins from 9 matches this season; they won their last match against LSG by 7 wickets.

SRH to Continue to Play an Extra Batter:

SRH, in their last match, decided to play Anmolpreet Singh as an impact player instead of having Mayank Markande in the XI as they wanted to play an extra batter.

Although Anmolpreet was dismissed on the first ball that he played, SRH is likely to give him another chance.

Jaydev Unadkat to Retain his Place:

Unadkat took a three-wicket haul when SRH last played here; he is expected to retain his place in the XI. But if SRH decides to give Umran Malik a chance, then Unadkat will have to make way for him.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has also been a failure this season; he has taken just 5 wickets from 9 innings, and his economy rate is 10.18.

SRH Need Their Overseas Players Back in Form:

SRH have suffered back-to-back losses, and consecutive failures to Head, Klaasen, and Cummins have been a big reason for the losses as SRH is quite dependent on their overseas core.
