The short temper of Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan has landed him in controversy once more, this time for manhandling and misbehaving with a fan who tried to take a selfie with him.

In a video going viral, a frustrated Shakib Al Hasan is seen grabbing a fan by the neck and threatening him for insisting on taking a selfie. Even after the fan tried to apologize and back off, Shakib continued to push him away.

It all happened during a Dhaka Premier League match, where Shakib was representing Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club. The fan’s encounter with the 36-year-old happened moments before the toss against Prime Bank Cricket Club.

Shakib Al Hasan is known for his short temper, both on and off the cricket field. He has been penalized several times for his conduct towards fellow cricketers, umpires, and, on occasion, fans.

It remains to be seen if the ICC will take action against Shakib Al Hasan, known for his repeated offences and setting a poor example.
