Kolkata Knight Riders will be facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Match 10 of IPL 2024 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on the 29th Match, Friday.

KKR won their first game by 4 runs against SRH. It was a tough game for KKR but they managed to hold their nerves and win the match. RCB has also won their last match here, comfortably against PBKS.

Phill Salt Started Ahead of Rahmanullah Gurbaz

Phill Salt who came in as a replacement for Jason Roy, started ahead of Gurbaz who played a few matches in the previous season and did well although Salt didn’t disappoint the management as he scored a fifty on his IPL debut and impressed everyone. He will be retaining his place in the 11.

Ramandeep Singh and Harshit Rana Grabbed the Opportunity 

Hard-hitting batting allrounder Ramandeep Singh came out to bat when KKR was struggling, the score was 51 for 4 from there Ramandeep smashed 35 runs in 17 balls that included 4 huge sixes.

Harshit Rana, a fast bowler with immense talent and aggression, played to his potential in the first match, he picked up 3 wickets in his 4 overs and defended 13 runs off the last over against the likes of Heinrich Klaasen.

Mitchell Starc and Shreyas Iyer Need to Step Up

KKR’s most expensive buy Starc was taken to the cleaners by the SRH batters in the first match, he went on giving 51 runs in his 4 overs and the KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer was dismissed for a 2-ball duck. KKR will need some solid performances from these two in the upcoming matches, or else things will get tough for the Knight Riders.
