The 41st match of the Indian Premier League 2024 will be played against the hosts Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The match is scheduled for 25th April from 7:30 pm.

SRH is currently ranked third in the IPL points table, while RCB is last. RCB has played eight matches in the IPL 2024 but has only won one. Meanwhile, SRH has won five of its seven games.

Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last game lost against KKR by a mere 1 run. RCB bowlers finally came into the scene restricting KKR to a decent score and after Will Jacks and Patidar scored half centuries a win on cards was looking inevitable but RCB choked under pressure and lost the game by 1 run.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won their most recent encounter against Delhi Capitals. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting powerhouse has been a talking point of this IPL. SRH batting ensures records are meant to be broken. With RCB’s bowling already facing the heat another high-scoring game is possible.

Both teams will be looking for an interesting battle at a stadium that is suitable for all the batters around the world. With Klassen, Head and Abhishek Sharma Hyderabad would love to repeat what they did back against RCB in Chinnaswamy scoring the highest runs in the innings of this tournament.

Here are the top three records that could be broken in the match –

Captain Cummins to Play his 50th IPL Match

Pat Cummins, the man with Midas touch has been able to leave an impact as a captain for SRH too. SRH which was out of the tournament in the first half itself during previous years is looking all set to win the trophy this year. Pat Cummins (49) is set to play his 50th IPL match.

Markram Eyes 1000 IPL Runs

South African Batter and SRH ‘s former captain Aiden Markram has been a decent performer in his little IPL stint. Aiden Markram (935) needs another sixty-five runs to reach 1000 runs in IPL.

Faf All set to hit 400 IPL Fours

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Captain Faf Du Plessis has not been able to replicate his previous year’s records. He has represented different franchises in this league, he is a decent timer of the ball that finds the gaps easily. Faf du Plessis (399) is just a four shy of reaching 400 fours in the tournament’s history.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s IPL journey is mathematically alive but the reality is not encouraging. RCB ‘s only motivation for the other matches is to spoil the other team’s party.
