Shadab Khan & Babar Azam

Pakistan will go head-to-head against New Zealand in the fourth T20 of the five-match series on Thursday, April 25, at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The first T20 of the series was abandoned due to bad weather, and after that, the second match of the series, Pakistan secured a win, while New Zealand bounced back stronger in the third T20 to level the series at 1–1.

Heading into the fourth T20I, Pakistan may tweak their lineup, given that their key wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan is out for the rest of the series after injuring his hamstring during batting in the third T20I.

Fakhar Zaman Finds A Place in Playing XI

Fakhar Zaman is likely to fill in for Mohammad Rizwan, while Usman Khan will take over wicketkeeping responsibilities and seek to make amends with the bat following a series of disappointments.

Irfan Khan Niazi, Shadab Khan Steer Middle Order

Saim Ayub and Babar Azam will kick off Pakistan’s innings, with Irfan Khan Niazi, who made a brief yet impactful appearance in the middle, slated to bat at number five, followed by Shadab Khan.

Unchanged Pace Attack

The pace attack is likely to remain unchanged from the previous game, with Shaheen Shah Afridi spearheading alongside Naseem Shah and Abbas Afridi. Abrar Ahmed, who has excelled as the frontline spinner, will retain his place.
