During a conversation with Adam Gilchrist on the podcast Club Prairie Fire, Rohit Sharma stated that he has ample time and prefers spending it with his family. Hence, he stays at home and reaches the hotel just an hour before team meetings.

Mumbai Indians had a disappointing start to the IPL 2024 campaign, losing three consecutive matches before bouncing back to win the next two, but they could not maintain the momentum and suffered another defeat in the most recent match against CSK.

While Mumbai Indians are struggling in the IPL 2024, the former captain and opener, Rohit Sharma, is enjoying a great run with the bat, showcasing aggressive opening skills. So far, he has scored 261 runs in six matches at a strike rate of 167.31.

“I have plenty of time on my hands these days. I am spending it with my family. I am staying at home actually during the last four matches Mumbai Indians played at Wankhede. I only go to the hotel an hour before the team meeting. It’s been good, a little different but good.”
